"I would give zero stars if I could! Just wasted an hour of my life that I won’t be getting back! Their “system” is broken, which they neglected to post signs about! You have to spend valuable time picking what you want, stand in a long cashier’s line, to realize they’re not only adding up everything in a notebook by hand (not even a calculator!), but that they only accept cash! Such a bummer, because they seem to have a good collection of items. Very frustrated!"
"Contrary to the Persian grocery store in Santa Monica, Star Market is a wonderful store, without an attitude. I bought my Greek tarama and other Mediterranean pantry items there. They also carry a great selection of feta cheese. The store is very clean, well organized and the items in display have long expiration dates for freshness. Ample parking space is available in the back. The most importantly, the owners and their employees are very gracious and helpful. I highly recommend this lovely market."
"Prices on fresh produce, especially herbs are fantastic. That bushel of mint in my hand in the picture was 50 cents! Ben was super friendly and helped me find everything I was looking for and introduced me to new recipes as well. Support your local grocery! 10/10."
