"This store has that open-air shopping experience where there's a fresh aroma food is being prepared. When you are walking from the produce to the Panaderia, you just want to put all the different foods in your cart. Each section is making fresh ceviche, fresh baked goods, or even fresh pressed juice to order."

"My mother and I went to this Vallarta for a quick bite to eat after getting our nails down at the fabulous Zen Nail Spa in the same shopping center. Well, we had a horrible experience at the food court area next to the bakery. As we were putting in our order the cashier, Francesca was being rude and ignoring us while her coworker came up and began to gossip about one of their other coworkers, and kept interrupting my mom so that she could listen to her story. All of the employees that day which way to Mel, identifying people and two female identifying people that were just gossiping and hanging around while they had over 15 orders/receipts just hanging from their printer. Then they skipped our order and made others even after speaking to the female Manager of that department. We eventually waited over 25 mins for two items, we asked for a refund and left. I will make sure to tell everybody to shop at Cardenas and any other shop that would put Vallarta out of business because we will never go there again."
"La Cocina Vallarta is a traditional mercado or super mercado like those found throughout Mexico. They are bringing the true flavors from many of the states down South known for their culinary tradition. Many of the dishes we were served at parties and family gatherings that were once considered peasant food have now been acknowledged by some of the top chefs in the world as delicacies for the complex flavors and techniques. Lengua (beef tongue), birria, menudo, mole poblano. You will find these and many other dishes here along with a great carniceria, panaderia, fresh fish and mariscos used to make amazing ceviche. They also have a cremeria serving fresh cheeses and cremas. Their Cocina is serving up the best chicharon, carnitas and Pollos any way you like. You won't be disappointed."
