"We are visiting from WI and wanted to find a dedicated pickleball court on which to practice. Unfamiliar with the area, we researched “pickleball courts in San Diego.” Standley Recreation Center was on the list. The description met our needs for a place to introduce our daughter to the sport. When we arrived, two young boys were playing basketball. But we retrieved the nearly new net from the locker, and set it up on the second court. The two, “new” courts were very nice, smooth, and clean. There are also two indoor courts. I have added three photos to the SRC gallery."

"Great outdoor area at this rec center! The playground is top quality and there are always lots of families playing on it and having birthday parties in the grassy area using the bbqs. The bathrooms are always dirty and nasty but everything else about this place is good. Parking in the lot can get crowded, but there's tons of street parking"
"Best place for the neighborhood 4th of July celebration. This community is wonderfully embracing and welcoming. I totally invite all locals and tourists to come check out this little slice of heaven."
"I'm a grandma who has been bringing my granddaughters, ages 10 and 7 to this wonderful park since they were babies. It is by far their favorite place to enjoy the wide variety of apparatuses to play on. The location, cleanliness and variety of equipment is why I choose this particular park as a 5 star place to take your children."
