The Heat Source

"I recently bought a small EPA certified pellet stove. I was originally in the market for a more efficient fireplace and the tax write off, but after talking to Darla and Justin I was convinced that a pellet stove was the way to go. It has been about a month now since we had our pellet stove installed and it has been great. I highly recommend The Heat Source for their knowledge, customer service, and their attention to detail. Justin did a wonderful job installing our unit and the cost was very reasonable. I would like to conclude by saying how well my pellet stove works. It heats the house very efficiently with very little maintenance and the cost is a small fraction of what my heating bill used to be. It will have paid for itself by the end of next year."

"I had The Heat Source come out to clean my pellet stove. It worked wonderful and heated my whole house. After the tech left, the auger wouldn't turn and we now have a broken stove. A different tech came back next day. Was VERY rude and said sorry can't fix it go online. I wish could give 0 stars!"

"Horrible customer service. I called and explained that my fire place isn't work. He asked me and the make and model. I explained that I didn't know the make and model. I was informed that it would be $120 charge just for them to come out to see if they would be able to fix it. I said no problem. I need my fire place fixed. As I was making the appointment (which was two weeks out) he told me it would cost $120 two more times. I then got upset and said you act like you don't want to come out and fix my fireplace and then hung up the phone. Poor customer service. Bad attitude. I guess they don't need to make money."

"My husband and I were looking into a pellet stove but didn't know too much and couldn't find every answer online....sometime you have to talk to a person to get all the information, which is very nice in this day an age. We were greeted right when we walked in and were taken care of the entire time we were there. There was only one person in the office at the time, but it didn't take away from our experience as other customers came in with questions. We loved the face that we were also shown wood burning stoves and the cost differences and the efficiency. We were able to ask questions about what we had heard about venting and code regulations, and how much of a cost difference it would be for us because of the way our home is setup. We walked out feeling very informed and could get a grasp on the blueprint ideas of this upgrade we want for our home."
