"Whatever you do, do NOT give your money to A and A stepping stone in Newcastle. We just paid for 100 ft.² of stone veneer and they only gave us 90 ft.² It turned out to be a very stressful and embarrassing situation. Why would they only give someone 90 ft.² when they paid for 100 ft.²? That is not how you do business. I thought I was more than 90 ft.² short and could not get a hold of the manager. She answered the phone one time and after that no one was available to help me. I had to drive almost an hour to pick up the rest of the veneer because my workers had to finish that day. To top it off they blamed my workers for not counting the stone. Why do I need to count the stone when they should be giving me the right amount? They didn’t lay out the stone, they just threw it all in a box. My workers had to be at my house for almost 2 extra hours because they didn’t give me the right amount. My worker also mentioned that they’re usually short when he gets product from there. How does that make any sense? Cheats, that’s what they are. I went and got samples and used their bathroom. Next trip I spent $1000 and they wouldn’t let me use their bathroom. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience, please take your money elsewhere!! They did end up giving me my extra 10 ft.² but the experience the worst!:/"

"A&A is a good place to get slate, stone, stuff to build your waterfall? You name it, they got it in stone. People are great, fast and mostly know what they are talking about."

"I called a few days ahead to order some stone. I ordered and paid for it over the phone to hold my order until I could come out and pick up on Saturday. I went out to get my order first thing Saturday morning. Waited about a half hour before the yard picker advised me that they did not have my order in stock. Kind of rediculous that they would take my payment without knowing FOR SURE , that they had it in stock. The only reason I paid over the phone was to hold my order. Not to mention, I live 20 miles away and wasted my time and gas to get here because I was lied to. Will never patronize this business again."

"I told my kids don't go to A&A because of my past experiences. It was close so they ordered little more than 3 pallets not counting the other stuff. She said they will be here 5 to 10 working days. 2 weeks later my son in law called. They knew nothing about it but they would call him back no call back took two calls before they would call me back. I could go on because a lot more stuff happen but you get the drift good luck if you choose to trade with these people"
