"Miguel and his crew did a great job for us on the floor in our kitchen/great room plus a refinish of the floor in our MBR. We originally thought to replace, but he advised us to just refinish what we had (at a substantial savings). His crew repaired existing damage and maintained a neat workplace (blocked off other parts of the house with plastic while sanding, clean/vacuum walls afterwards). They were helpful offering us choices of colorings. Miguel was super responsive/communicative. Would use them again - but I think I'll be all set for the next 30 years!"

"Just wanted to share this review for anyone out there considering hardwood floors and do not know who to go to. I have a couple of properties and over the years have dealt with several local flooring companies in Santa Cruz and can say that without a doubt that for hardwood floors Diaz Hardwood Floors is by far the best. Our floors were installed about 14 years ago and they recently had some damage on a couple of the planks. Miguel Diaz honored his warranty, his crew came on the scheduled day, and they completed the repair promptly and professionally. His crew ensured that we were happy with the job and did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves. "After 30 years, we decided to finally have our hardwood floors redone (sanded & repaired) as we had delayed maintenance for far too long! From start to finish, Miguel and his team were incredibly professional, efficient and got the job done earlier than originally planned! We live in the SC mountains and, given the many pets we've had over these many years (currently 3 dogs - 2 feral cats), our floors take a beating. It's hard to believe that they were able to restore our floors to their natural beauty given how badly they were worn down in sections and several boards had to be replaced. We could not be happier with their hard work and the results...the floors are beautiful again and the experience was far better than we could have imagined. They did an unbelievable job in mitigating the "dust" that we had always heard horror stories about. Miguel and his team are true professionals and were a pleasure to have in our home. Shout out to Bruno, Jesus, Alex & Eddie (also Elias for his painting expertise) for all of their hard work and for minimizing the impact to our lives throughout this process (and tolerating our many four-legged friends).
