"I recently moved to the west coast from Georgia due to military PCS. Drove my 97 Honda prelude cross country with a bad transmission (4th gear syncro trash). A friend back home here recommended Nastie garage. Drove over here and met Nate and his partners. They were very welcoming and gave me all the knowledge and information I needed to know without sketchiness like other businesses . I bought a brand new rebuilt tranny from synchrotech and Nate finished the job in literally a day. He said "drop it off monday, and for sure itll be done before tuesday afternoon". And so it was. Picked up my car that afternoon. He even updated me with pictures on monday and he also fixed my VTEC. Hes very straight forward if hes busy he cant work on your car and schedule you an appointment and guarantee a pick up day . Which is good, because he puts in full focus on each job. He also pointed out mistakes that my mechanics in georgia made during the auto to manual swap 2 months ago. He fixed and tightened some bolts in my suspension that we're neglected in georgia. Price totally beats any shop around California (literally by about 2x). Legit business that you can pay with credit card and receive an invoice. He's very knowledgeable with anything from bone stock to modified cars. He's great at explaining how everything works and seems to have no issue teaching a few things. His reception area looks like a mini Honda museum. Garage also looks clean. Will definitely be coming back for motor and suspension jobs. Highly recommended! Will definitely update in a few months how the transmission is holding up. But if there are any issues, it's more of a parts problem from syncrotech, nothing to do with nates labor."
