"There are not enough stars for Dr. Mahalati! He performed a MAJOR abdominal surgery on my dad in 2017. It was a hard long surgery and even longer recovery. My dad was a very sick man. Skip forward 5 years at an ER in another town. The ER doctor called Dr. Mahalati in Jackson and his words were “send him to me” which was in Jackson. At 1:00ish am in the Jackson ER, 5 years later he walked into my dads room. I can’t explain the feeling of knowing he was on our team again. There is no way our family could ever thank him for all he has done for us. Truly a great man and a excellent surgeon."

"Dr Mahalati was called in after my father's open heart surgery as he had an illeus. My father a diabetic I did not want him to have surgery unless we had to, and I told Dr Mahalati this. He came in everyday and checked on my Dad and kept a close watch on his sleeping bowel with x rays, and medication adjustments to help his bowel wake up. Dr Mahalati was very patient and professional and focused on his patient, which happened to be my father. Finally after 11 days my dad's bowel woke up. I appreciate his patience and focused care of my father. Fast forward a couple of years later and I had to take my daughter in for a spot on her cheek, and the pediatrician referred us to Dr Mahalati. The spot had to be removed, and he did a great job and did not even leave a scar. Dr Mahalati cares very much for his patient's well being, and is willing to do whatever is necessary to make that happen. I love Dr Mahalati!"
