"I always receive attentive service at Memphis Pool. I love the pool school and the freeze recommendations that they email out during inclement weather. Now they even advertise free delivery of pool supplies. Recently they had an advertised special on chemicals. When I tried to take advantage of the special pricing and have 65 lbs. of shock delivered, I was told that I could have the special pricing for pick-up or pay regular price and have it delivered. Really, this was a bit disappointing and I believe short sighted."

"Stopped in for hot tub supplies. They were out of the stain and scale control by "Brilliance". The very nice lady that waited on me said they could see if another store had it, but the hot tub expert came out from an adjoining room and said that the Pool King "metal-X" was the same thing and in fact it was about twice as much in content for about the same price! I appreciate it his input and was able to get all my supplies at once."

Before I start, I want to let everyone reading this post that it is revised from my previous post. It went from 1 star to 2 stars because Bill Byer called me to discuss my issues. We purchased a home & the pool was covered. Since, we never had to deal with a covered pool, I had Memphis Pool open my pool for the summer. I know several people who've had their pools built by MP. I also worked with a Builder who uses MP to build the community pools and apartment pools. So my experience with MP and the hearsay has always been positive. I looked to MP as a higher end company. However, my personal experience is not that. For $289 I was told by the scheduler I would receive my pool cover removed, folded, & stored in designated location. I would receive 15 mins of brushing and/or vacuuming. I would receive re-install of pool accessories. I would receive reconnect timer, cleaner, make sure everything was running & check & adjust water chemistry (chemicals extra). Even though MP was more expensive with a few less services, I still went with them because of others experiences with them. What I received - Cover rolled while wet - tech told my daughter that we would still need to unroll it, clean it and then reroll it because it might mildew & they normally don't store covers wet. Bill told me that it's ok to store covers wet (I'm confused wet or not wet?). Cover left at pool not stored in designated location - Bill said he would make it right by coming back & putting it in the garage - but why? - if I have to unroll it, dry it and reroll it. He did offer a service at $219.00 that includes pressure washing & storage at their facility. No vacuuming or brushing was done - Bill explained that they do not brush because it stirs up the dirt & vacuuming - well it takes the tech longer than 15mins to get their equipment out. He did agree that I was mislead on this and stated that they offered a service at $175hr to vacuum. He also stated he would bring this up in their next staff meeting. He stated my pool chemicals checked out, but when I got home I did my own test and there was no chlorine in the pool. When I got home to check my pool, I found my skimmers not pulling in water & the jets were not working. I guess my fault to assume they would make sure the pool was working since the service includes reconnecting chlorinator, timer & cleaner. The stairs were missing a part so they could not install them - but they offered no solution or sell to repair them. I am more disappointed in myself - I read reviews, called different pool companies and selected MP and got nothing. Again, Thank you Bill for calling. I do consider the gesture good customer service - but it resolved nothing. The pic below is the pool when it was uncovered - but now it looks like someone ate at Taco Hell and it doesn't work."

"We love the pool itself, but they did a terrible job with the concrete. The pool is now 2 years old and the deck around the pool is cracked and a tripping hazard in several spots. A real eye sore."
