"Arrived at 11:55AM for a 12PM appointment, having already filled out the new patient paperwork 2.5 years previously for an appointment I ended up not attending. I asked before my appointment if I needed to update my paperwork and was told no. Upon arrival for my appointment today, I was told that I wasn’t scheduled to see the doctor until 1PM and was brought in an hour early for paperwork. I explained that the information I gave them 2.5 years ago has changed and was no longer correct. The receptionist said there was no need to update information. She advised me to be back promptly at 1PM and I would be swiftly seen. I asked if they needed anything else from me when I came back at 1PM. They said no. 1:15PM came and I was still waiting in the lobby. Now, knowing I’m going to miss an appointment scheduled after this one, I asked again. They confirmed for the 4th time that the insurance holder was my spouse and said, “That’s all we were waiting on, they’ll come get you now.” At 1:30PM a technician finally got me and we started with vitals and a urine sample. All was well with that. She politely took me to the exam room with instructions. After the doctor came in, I sensed he was uncomfortable. His nervousness was obvious by his eye moment, speech pattern, a slight voice tremble. His nervousness only seemed to progress with the exam. This made me extremely uncomfortable. I wasn’t anxious for my first OBGYN appointment and exam until he exhibited this behavior. The general feeling was that he was inexperienced and uncomfortable performing his job duties. Exam wise, he was professional and communicated his moves before doing so. I would have been able to oversee the unnecessary waiting. Miscommunications happen, I get it. However, the outdated paperwork and doctor’s awkward and uncontrollable behavior completely ruined my experience. 0/10 would NOT recommend OBGYN Associates to anyone. I’m sure they have some wonderful doctors, but they’d be much better suited in a private practice, rather than with this group."

"After beating cancer and being in remission for a few months, it was time for me to rejoin the land of the living and have my annual. I am new to Oak Ridge and found this office by Google, and waited a few months to get in with Dr. Tate. It was worth the wait. From reception to seeing Dr. Tate, I felt heard. After all the medical nonsense and misdiagnosis I have been through, it was beyond reassuring to know I had her full attention. I know that when I start trying towards the end of this year, that I can count on this office to be there for me."

"I'm not sure if these negative reviews are for the same Drs office. So far this has been the best OBGYN office that I've ever been a patient of. I have not given birth yet with them, so I can't speak of labor and delivery experience..but so far it has been a great experience with them. The staff are very friendly and personable. I have never waited longer than a few minutes to be seen. Oftentimes, if I arrive early, they will get me in and out early. They have on-call doctors that you can speak to after hours, if you have an urgent matter. I have had several visits with them now, and I only have good things to say about their office so far. Compared to my last obgyn doctor, the experience with them has been above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend them to any expecting mother."

"Don’t recommend this office - they black list patients when they speak up about being mad for waiting 45 min to an hr EACH time they come to their appointments with proof. The office manager Anne is rude and doesn’t like being talked back to. She got mad when I told her it’s a reoccurring thing. I left after my appointment and she sent out papers the same day for me to be blacklisted. She was very rude today when I called back to see why I was dismissed from the practice. She said it was because I was rude. I told her how am I the one in the wrong when I am the one always waiting for my appointments - so be it. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have a life. Went in for a 3 o clock appointment didn’t leave until 5:05"

"Loved the doctor but last in billing was awful. I went to my appointment told them I would have copay nexy day she refused to let me see Dr. Told me to reschedule I canceled future appointments. I also informed her that my last 2 appointments did not ask for copay and was billed for 1 paid copay for that appointment and the next one even though it did not ask for the copay on my last visit but when a patient needs to see Dr but doesn't have money on hand till next day patient can't see Dr. The medical field is not to help people anymore is only about the money not the patient."
