"Went in 20 minutes before closing tonight. Waited in line for 20 minutes to do a return as a cashier was trying her best to help a customer without enough cash in her drawer, that wasn’t the issue. The issue was the other 3 young employees that stood by and watched the line build and build and never stepped in to help. One even came up to give approval for a discount and then walked away. And other came to get some go backs and again walked away. It wasn’t until 5 till close 2 girls approached the registers, one to help and another to stand by and watch as she rudely radioed asking how many people were still in the store, side eyeing the entire line as if we haven’t been waiting for 20 minutes and if she just jumped on a register she’d be out of there on time. As a retail manager myself it was infuriating to watch. Clearly you have a young team with little motivation, no sense of urgency and disregard for customer experience. Such a disappointing experience, luckily I’m from out of town, but if I was local I wouldn’t be back."

"A little disappointed with the customer service today. Went to buy my son some indoor soccer shoes and there was no one there to help, finally came out to see if we needed something. He brought out the shoes and kept going inside for a long time while I waited. Other employees kept passing by and no one asked if I needed help. Maybe this employee had work to do inside but if there is a customer there wanting to buy shoes, the customer should be helped first. I ended up buying turf soccer shoes inside of indoor. The employee did not let me know these were not indoor soccer shoes. Anyway, customer service could have been way better."

"Dylan was a really nice cashier, he helped me with the returns and with the new items I bought, I got 2 new board shorts, I score on 1 of them, it was on sale. This is store is huge, 2 floors. Beautiful and bright. They have anything you would need for any sports, last time I was here I saw wetsuits too. I purchased a basketball hoop and a bike for Christmas online and they put the bike together for me free of charge. Thank you!"

"I want to start off by saying this store is HUGE! I’ve never came across a two story DICK’s Sporting Goods. You can pretty much everything sport & camping related. Everything but fishing equipment (which doesn’t make sense because they do carry fishing gear online). The location is great as it is conveniently off the 5 fwy at the Mission Viejo Mall. Everything is neatly organized and sectioned. I only wish there was more signage to find certain sections because the store was so massive. The store is sectioned off pretty well to get an idea of where to head to. If it’s your first time or at this location or are in a time crunch- it might be best to ask a staff member to guide you in the right direction. Staff members were very friendly and very helpful. This location does basic bike repairs (Due to COVID-19 they are only doing repairs on bikes purchased there/certain brand). I am amazed how spacious and eye appealing this store is. Bright lights, photo decor on the wall takes this store up a notch. Not to mention the AC at this store is amazing. You can feel the coolness walking around. When you’re walking around with a mask on your face, you best believe a properly ventilated store is a plus. The DICK’s location in Laguna Hills is very hot and stuffy. Dressing rooms are opened to try on items which is a huge plus! I am so happy that this location opened up, will definitely be buying all of my sporting needs here!"
