"Associates of Habit were very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating! When you need a salon appointment last minute it's a challenge, but they made it easy and I appreciate that! I needed to get my hair washed & styled immediately and they made themselves available. I walked in stressed out - but I walked out with a big smile, feeling light, happy, and my hair looked like a million bucks! The gorgeous style lasted 2 days! Thanks!"

"Nikki Chevalier first did my hair about 8 years ago and I absolutely loved it. Then I moved away and after trying 3 more hairdressers, I always found that no one did hair quite like her - so I came running back to her. I always know my hair is in good hands when I come to her, I trust her judgement and skill as she is very meticulous in her craft. My red hair has always turned out AMAZING and now my pink hair is giving me life. On top of her being an excellent hairdresser, she's funny as hell, which isnt necessary, but sure helps when you're sitting in that chair for 3+ hours. So yes, I highly recommend her. "Had my hair done by Nicki. She did a nice job, but today I brought my daughter in. I was blown away by how rude she was to my daughter. My daughter is very respectful and well behaved, and she certainly didn’t deserve to be snapped at by Nicki. While brushing my daughters hair, Nicki asked me how I wanted it cut, and if I wanted her length evened out. The back of my daughters curly hair is extremely short. My daughter got worried and said, “No, please no.” I always allow her to decide since she takes care of her hair on her own daily. Nicki scolded at her to be quiet and then told my daughter that she didn’t like being yelled at by kids. My daughter never even raised her voice, yet Nicki did. I was surprised and tried to brush it off. My daughter never got her hair cut, and when we walked outside she burst into tears. She told me she didn’t know what she did wrong and how upset she felt. She did not want to return to that salon. I feel so guilty for not stopping Nicki immediately. I should have and almost did, but tried to redirect her instead. I was just so in shock. Kids are just as deserving of kindness and respect as adults. Nicki’s reaction was so unwarranted. I’m sad to have to write this review, but since my kid is still talking about it before bed, I have to say something. I will be calling to cancel the future appts I had made prior to this incident. By no means is this a review of the salon, but a review of one hair dresser that mistreated my daughter."
