"This pertains only to cleaning. I rarely leave bad reviews unless I feel compelled and here I am. I had a horrendous cleaning experience here. First, the hygienist had really bad bed side manners -- I was in tears because of pain and closed my mouth multiple times, my shoulders tight, trying to express with my whole body that I need her to be gentler but she forced my mouth open with tools without saying a single word. She never paused to ask how I was doing, she kept at poking and picking the same painful spot that was bleeding (I could taste my blood). Next, I regularly clean my teeth and have been maintaining them so I am really not sure why this one session was especially, unbearably painful. It felt like she was jumping around, scraping the same spots over and over, without explaining anything. Finally, there was such a lack of attention to detail. For fluoride treatment, she placed a huge chunk of fluoride over my lips so I had to go wash my lips right away after my cleaning. Throughout cleaning, she once placed the suction almost up my nose at one point (which I find ridiculous - this never happens right?) but immediately shoved in my mouth. And water sputtered all over my face. The one hour I spent here this morning was overall, a poor experience, and I cancelled my next appointment before leaving. Never going back."

"I've been going here for at least eight years. I moved to another part of the bay and keep trying other dentists to avoid the drive, but I keep coming back to Dublin smiles. Dr. Liao is great, the hygienists are great, the office is clean and about as cheerful is a dentists office could be. She seems to have a lot of up-to-date equipment and I'm just all in for Dr. Liao and the whole Dublin smiles team. Couldn't recommend more."
