He does excellent work, whether you're looking for a fresh cut or a new color. Over the years he has given me a pixie cut, balayage, root shadows, and more and I have always been happy with the results. Salon is conveniently located in downtown Oakland and a private, comfortable space also!"

I went in with the intention of hoping that they could help fix a root touchup that I had done elsewhere, but we decided mid-appointment to go turn my hair a mix of purple and steel, and it came out beautifully. Could not have asked for a better job! And not only are they talented at their work, but Eric is a very welcoming and fun person to chat with while you’re waiting for your hair to process. "My review for Eric is honestly long overdue. I've only had 2 appointments with him but I really love sitting in his chair and getting to explore new styles with him! I have trouble explaining how I want my hair to be cut sometimes but it's like he knows exactly what kind of look I'm going for without me having to go in such detail. I cant even explain how wonderful I felt, especially after seeing him for the first time! He always has such great recommendations for hair products and other tips and he's just really fun and enjoyable to talk with as well! I can sometimes feel really awkward and uncomfortable and even self-conscious when I get certain services done, but I've never felt that way here :) I live over an hour away but I will come here whenever need a hair service and can make the drive :)"
