"Quoted me $300 for straightening what I very clearly described as very curly, very thick, and damaged hair. I clear half my day, show up at the designated time, she washes my (less than shoulder length) hair, ripping a bunch in the process (I’m already weary at this point), then proceeds to “dry” it (basically teases it into an uncontrollable Jewfro — to make a point?) then says it would actually be $550. I got up and left. I’d probably end up paying as much total because I’ll now be flying to get this done at a more serious Korean salon in LA, but eww. Do your hair and your schedule a favor and take your business elsewhere."

"I had requested for Jennifer due to the positive reviews. She was very nice and professional, but the cut she gave me was the worst I've ever gotten. It was also the quickest. I had requested her to cut my hair shorter and to give me some layers. She spent about 12-15 min and was done. The layers were not even at all and did not show a progression of short in the front to longer in the back. When I didn't see the layers, I asked if she can give me more layers and she said that her style isn't like that. It's more textured and messy, hence, that was what I got. She gave me 2 more snips on the left and right and I was thinking I could have done that myself with no technique... The cut came to $60+tip, which is quite pricey for a quick cut that did not meet simple expectations. The cost also included a hair wash in the beginning. It was also very quick and rough, given by an older lady. I would not recommend coming here if you want a simple cut with layers."
