"The receptionist was rude and sarcastic. I was scheduled for an 11:00 appointment and she said "I don't even have a doctor here today." She does not know why I was scheduled for an appointment and then she said she did not have anything to schedule for over a month away. She was playing loud music on her computer and kept asking me over and over my name and DOB. She was nasty and looked and sounded like she did not want to be there. Why take it out on me? I do not believe the good reviews. My experience was horrid. Stay away from Gentle Dental in Hayward because if the front desk is this bad, the care must be worse."
"Awesome dental! Prompt, on time and they Did my Wisdom tooth removal and I was out of there in 1 or 1 1/2 hr. Highly reccomend!"
"Dr. Watanabe is an excellent doctor. His work is really gentle and fast I had fillings and a root canal done with no pain. The front desk are efficient and super nice ladies. This is a well run office. The best dental experience I had in 5yrs."

"I was very hesitant to go back to the dentist, especially after my last dreadful experience, but everyone here is very welcoming. The waiting room is big and comfortable with even water to drink. Dr. Watanabe is very professional with great attention to detail and is considerate throughout the process. He walks you step by step before he does something to prepare you, because I have had dentists who don't even mention, and a small pinch can come across as very uncomfortable without notice. I did not feel judged about the condition of my teeth or pressured to do a procedure. He is great at his job. Just prepare for a bit of a wait, but that is normal for dentists, because they have other patients to work on as well. Highly recommended."
