"I've not even actually been here before or anything, because even though I wish I could, I'm to old to get my haircut here, but I wanna know why people are getting their kids hair cuts under the age of 1. That's a baby. Baby hair is light and thin and delicate, even if you want their hair to 'look nice' you should keep in mine that, that is a BABY. they don't need nice hair. Stop getting your kids haircuts when they don't need them till their at least 2 or 3."

"Owner was nice but the haircut was pretty rough for my son. He kept saying ouch and crying. Hes pretty sensative being autistic but looking at the other reviews i wasnt the only one with this issue. Overall the haircut cost 40 plus tip which is expensive for a kids cut. I won't be back but I appreciate you being able to get us in before your vacation."

"Too much money ($40) & not a good job. My son was very patient & sat nicely. The front is a mess. I asked how much it would be & she said $40. I was shocked, but I would pay of course. And then it felt like she just kept cutting & cutting to justify the $40 price tag. I’d rather my son’s hair look nice at the end versus just cutting to cut. It felt like cutting with no rhyme or reason….. and then you can see the result in the pic… just strange."

"My 6 yr old son came home crying :'( after his second haircut at Lil Cottage. The owner/hairstylist (assuming they are the same person) was extremely rough with him and when both my son and his father mentioned it to her she didn't ease up. The $35 haircut was alright but the cost of making my son so upset that I spent the evening reassuring he did not have to return to that place, NOT worth it and most definitely NOT okay. My husband said she seemed to be extremely rushed, stressed and not kid friendly. Which he thought was awkward considering the last time he took him she was a bit rough but nothing like today. My husband also stated that he briefly argued with her regarding the actual appointment. She said "I almost closed when you didn't get here!" My husband was baffled because he tried to make an appointment for 445p, she stated she only had 430p available - so we took it. They arrived at 418p... !?!?! Why would she threatened to have closed if they got there even 27 mins prior to her assumed and not agreed upon appointment. In the end she said something about talking on the phone and dismisses the failed argument. She did NOT wear a mask!!! Outside looks very unsafe!! It's so unfortunate because I would have never make an appointment at this place given it's current reviews (and I'm all about helping and promoting small businesses) but not one like this. I understand times might be hard and there may be a lot going on with this woman -- but don't take it out on a 6 year kid that you are accepting money to provide a service for."
