"Wanted Italian tonight and discovered this super hip Italian restaurant in downtown San Jose called Rollati. Ordered the thousand layer lasagna with short rib, which is so unique and a welcomed twist on this Italian staple! The garlic bread was one of a kind and super creative, but fell short on flavor. Love the ambitious creativity tho! And ordered a #surpriseme drink and the bartender Michaela delivered amazingly! Adding this spot to my #comeback list. Definitely recommend."
"I had high hope from this place. Went there for lunch. From the outside, it looked like a calm and nice place, a place where you can have a good conversation. However, the choice of music could not have been peppier than my HIT class. The seats were comfortable. The staff was nice. The food however was quite okay. Not something you would expect from a fancy place with these prices."
"Wow, what a great experience! The food was on point, it was hot it was fresh there was an amazing variety of choices, their service was amazing The ambience, the location, I really like this place it's definitely going to be a destination downtown if you're looking for an upscale Italian meal, highly recommend. Tiramisu was light, delicate and heavenly with just a hint of espresso. We were early so we had Happy hour at the bar with antipasto, meat balls, grilled cheese sandwich with prosciutto, mozzarella sticks, all of which hit the spot."
"This is a really nice place. Came on a Sunday about 515pm. We had reservations. Seated right away. Ordered a few drinks and some appetizers. Mozzarella sticks and garlic bread. They were both very good. Main course was "Chicken Di Parm" and Spaghetti Pomodoro. Chicken was a huge piece. Could have fed us both. It was good, but something was lacking on flavor, but that didn't matter. I enjoyed it. My wife liked her Spaghetti. We skipped desert. We were too stuffed!! The waiter was very attentive. We were done by 630pm. By that time the restaurant was pretty full. I hope this place does well. I'd definitely come back."
