"Okay so immediately entering the ambiance of this place can’t possibly be any cooler, with the neon sign and the big open clean space. Many different cookies and something for everyone. I ordered: Macaroon: Delicious, soft and perfectly baked. Peanut butter: too hard but flavor is good almost tasted old though. Chocolate Mint: also old tasting and was hard and the salt from another cookie we ordered got all over it. Oatmeal: soft, good amount of sweet with salt. salted chocolate chip: I wish they would have put this one in a different bag because the salt got all over all the other cookies. I’d for sure order the Macaroon again, but I’d probably just get a dozen of those and call it a day. The service on the day I was in there was the most disappointing part. Not one person that worked there seemed happy, the girl helping me almost seemed irritated and put out as she was bagging my cookies. I’m not even sure she said thanks or said anything at all when handing me my receipt.. would have been a 4 star had the workers not brought down my cookie vibe.."

"My son and I were in Santa cruz for his birthday. We went for a walk downtown and stopped here. I put the "Baker's Dozen and picked an assorted variety. They were all delicious but those coconut ones (not sure of their name) were absolutely amazing! Nothing was overly sweet and the textures were perfect."

"I love this place! They have several varieties of cookies and they are open late, which is always when I want a cookie most. I deeply regret not buying a months worth of cookies and freezing them. The price point is not cheap but still affordable. The only thing I would change is for them to offer to heat your cookie up for you. Otherwise, this place is pretty close to my dream dessert joint. Highly recommend!"

"Local Spot Bakes the Best Cookies, Right Here in Santa Cruz. My favorite thing to get is the Mom‘s Special: two cookies and a milk. (My go-to cookies are the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and the Almond Joe. It’s the perfect little snack to indulge your sweet tooth. They also carry another local favorite: Marianne's ice cream. Next time you’re in downtown Santa Cruz, you should definitely stop by for the freshest baked cookies made that same day."
