"Magical. Stopped for a quick restroom break in the middle of nowhere on a long vacation drive. Nowhere in my wildest imagination did I expect to find what i did inside. What a collection of novelties, hot sauces, jarred goods, your normal convenience store odds and ends, wine, liquor, a candy shoppe/bakery and most surprising of all, a 50’s diner that may as well be a Time Machine. If you need to get gas, try and make it to this location, even if it’s a bit out of the way. It’ll slow down your travel as you’ll want to discover everything the store has to offer, but it is such a refreshing alternative to dirty truck stops and cookie cutter gas station convenience stores."
"I thoroughly enjoyed coming to this wonderful gas station and general store! The local products were delightful and I brought home the yummy fudge for the family. We all enjoyed it! Now they just stopped there today on their trip! This is a fun place and I will definitely stop here and support this wonderful small business while in route from Los Angeles to the Bay Area!"
"In what feels to be a twist of fate, I made the stop at this little corner store just days after watching the film East of Eden for the first time. Nicely positioned far from other stores, the staff was friendly and offered up an interesting collection of jams, sweets, and snacks. Bathroom was well maintained for a hidden away stop that was likely once a major hub."
"This an interesting store.. lots of space and lots of goodies to choose from. Has a restaurant and a fudge shop along with locally made jams and jellies. Canned goods .. all of it amazing. It worth a stop here to find some tasty snacks for your palate . There is truck and RV parking here"
