Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken

"I’ve been coming here for a while now. The chicken and the gumbo hit and miss! I guess like most places. Today I ordered a small gumbo and a snack pack with a breast. The fries didn’t appear to be fresh but by the time I realized it I’d already left. The chicken wasn’t fried crispy enough and the dinner roll didn’t seem fresh either. Needless to say this was definitely one of those misses."

"Food was average at best. Saw they had a B rating after ordering. I didnt pay it any mind until 20 mins after eating, the bathroom session was legendary. Stomach was rumbling, it passed threw me with explosiveness. I dont know if they used old chicken grease or old chicken. But it definitely had a misunderstanding with my belly. And also the female companion i was with stomach was bubbling as well. The service was good. Atmosphere was iffy. Unscrupulous individuals lurking around.. I wouldnt go back based off of the issues it gave my digestion system. AT ALL. I usually NEVER write reviews, but was compelled after going to war with the toilet. God bless"

"I have never seen such a filthy parking lot and such a clean restaurant. It was empty when I went inside. One thing I noticed was that I didn't smell chicken or food when I was outside of the restaurant. When I got inside, I decided to order five dinners with breasts and wings. I was taking these dinners over to a relative's home who had not cooked. I was a bit disappointed that had to wait, nearly 30 minutes for the cook to prepare the chicken and fries. While waiting, a man came inside clearly planning to rob the place. He had on a cap, a long coat, leather gloves, and a carrying case that was oddly shaped. When he walked into the door, he pulled his mask up, over his mouth and nose. None of the customers were wearing masks. Anyway, when he saw my 80 lb. dog on the other side of me, I don't think he was prepared to deal with a charging dog, who resembled Kujo. He left without getting any food but remained outside. Finally, I received my orders. I felt good and anticipated a great dinner. I told my Aunt all of the dinners were the same - breast, wing, fries and dinner roll. I was wrong. I was charged for only white meat, but just one of the five dinners had a breast. The dinners contained an assortment of dark meat. I was embarrassed. I bring the best when I am treating others. These dinners were the worst and the daughter who arranged each order deliberately gave me the cheapest chicken (the dark meat) and the chicken that had simply been sitting there all the while. When you purchase fast food and you spend $60.00, you should get what you ordered. Not only did I not receive what I ordered. I waited 30 minutes to receive orders with odd pieces. That kind of dishonesty concerns me. That a vendor would charge you a higher price and give you cheaper pieces of meat is despicable to me. It doesn't matter to me that they need to get rid of the food To pass off the old food,???? Who does this? These people shouldn't be in business. I would not recommend this restaurant for multiple reasons."

"I absolutely love Louisiana's fried chicken.... And this one is pretty famous for the location... On Crenshaw across the street from the world famous marathon clothing store. The customer service is fantastic.. and I appreciate the beautiful girl that's always taking orders and fulfilling her job duties"
