"They really know their whiskey! Came here for their whiskey 101 class (found on Eventbrite) and it was interesting. The information was a bit all over the place, but what a great opportunity to taste test different whiskeys against each other. The bartender was also super knowledgeable and readily answered our questions. Would recommend if you want to get into whiskey, I had a great time!"
"This has been my go-to bar since I moved to San Francisco. The bartenders are friendly, the service is outstanding, and the drinks are superb. I’m an IPA guy so I generally stick with their signature Snake Oil IPA, but they make great cocktails as well. I can personally attest to the deliciousness of their White Russian and Lemon Drop. I’d like to mention by name: Nick, Nick, Noah, Lauren, Aura, and Kara, as they have been all ears every time I’ve entered this fine establishment. This place makes me feel at home even though I’m quite far away from where I grew up. You won’t regret being a patron at the second oldest bar in San Francisco: Elixir."
