"Tasty new authentic Japanese ramen in Newark. Unlike played out tonkotsu ramen, they offer a shoyu broth with thicker noodles. The ambiance is great. Food is good, but leans on the saltier side. Customizable spiciness level (extra charge); level 2 has a small kick for a Japanese place, but it's very moderate. You place your order on your phone and pay before receiving it, so service is somewhat nonexistent. Given this fact, the wait is short even if there's a line."

"Overall, good. I heard about the place from a work friend. I have not tried the SF outlet yet, so I'm not sure of the difference. We went for early friday dinner. It gets crowded during peak hours, so may sure you arrive on time or prepare for wait. You can directly order via your phone by scanning the QR code, which was kind of cool & quick. I would have liked a little more interaction with the server to ask questions may be. Vegetarian options were limited in terms of broth & we probably went with a milder spice level. It's good overall but would not be my go-to ramen spot , we ordered a zen vegan ramen & dumplings. Dumplings are a must try & probably my fav on the menu so do try them."
"A cute & cozy Ramen place. I was surprised to see 3 vegan options on their menu.Ordered the creamy Vegan option with medium spice level( number of red chillies in the bowl represent the spice level I think ). It tastes great. Loved the sweet tofu in it. I have visited them during lunch and dinner as well. It is relatively crowded during the evenings but their service is quick which helps. Will definitely recommend!"
