"Amazing find and, as a meat eater I can say it's some of the most satisfying vegan or vegetarian food you will find in San Diego. Sushi, vegetable sashimi, karaage, gyoza, ramen - all vegan and all delicious. Friendly service, not crazy expensive, and they accommodate walk-ins (however I'd recommend reservations). Definitely a keeper!"

"Probably the best vegetarian ramen in downtown san diego, highly suggest trying the Tan Tan. The Brussel Sprouts appetizer is also amazing, packed full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back here several times in the future! Also they have a killer happy hour deal!"

"One of the best dining experiences in San Diego if you're trying to get vegetarian/ vegan food. I recommend getting a reservation so that you are ensured a table when you get in to dine. The servers are helpful and will help answer any questions you have. The menu for Yasai is all vegan/ vegetarian. We ordered the Vegan Bao Buns, the Amakara Roll, the Stressed Out Roll and the Triple Tomato Ramen. I think the ramen was the star of the show & something that I've never had before. The check was about $100 across 2 people and 4 dishes, which seems like a fair price for the area. I would DEFINITELY come here again."

"The food was great, a bit on the pricey side. We ordered all vegan food, the options are plentiful. The restaurant location in Little Italy can be very loud as there are airplanes that are constantly flying above. There's a lot across the street from the restaurant to pay for parking otherwise you may find yourself driving around to find street parking like we did."
