Sayaka Japanese Restaurant

"I stopped by for a to-go order because I noticed the 50% off sign. I came in and was greeted by the owner and she took my order. She was super nice and proud of her restaurant when I asked if she owned it! I got home and the first bite was delectable. Really melts in your mouth. Definitely recommend. I think the owners name is Min? That is what it said on who the cashier was (on the receipt). Thanks for the great service! Will go back and bring my family for a sit down experience soon. I got the Winter Roll and the Fantastic Roll and both were amazing."

"Went to this restaurant for my mother in law's birthday on a Saturday at 4 pm. We sat on the restaurant side, which was nice, not too busy, so we had a table and area to ourselves. The food was good, loved the tempura. Food was a little pricey, but they allowed separate checks, which was helpful for a large group. They let us bring our own cake and celebrated with us. On the way out, we got to see the bar and sushi sides where there was seating and music. Worth trying again for a different experience and to try other menu items."

"Nice restraunt .... they have multiple menus (3) .... habachi sushi and something else I don't remember..... the food is over priced then given 50% off so not really a discount .... they tip themselves check receipt....... sushi was one of the best I've had .... wait staff not really attentive but it's a big place and not many employees ... dark inside mostly"

We stopped on a lark and noticed the 50% off sushi special. I tried one of their combo plates was very happy with the design and amount of food for the price. The miso soup was good as well as the California Roll ordered. The servers did come around and check on me but I still had to request a refill on my drink. Would I go back again...yes if ever in the area. 3.5 Stars..."

"Hadn't been here in years but decided to come for sushi. We ordered the Sayaka boat for two. It came with tons of sushi and sashimi which was nicely displayed. I like my sushi colder. We also got a very basic salad. Soup which my husband liked, very small Bay scallops and shrimp and various tempura items. It was good but the service from the waitress was nonexistent and then at the end, she added a 15% tip for herself and if you didn't check the receipt first, you might tip again because the tip did not show up on the merchant copy. I think this was sneaky and we generally tip 20+% so she lost out. Also, all the menus and counter tops/table tops had a sticky feel. It was ok but it will be a long time before we come back here, if at all. See pics, it does look enticing..."
