A-1 Turbo Exchange

"Took my car for a turbo job, it included removing the engine from my car. The guy that does the turbos works with the mechanics as they do removal of the engines while the other guys just works on turbos. then they took 4 months for them to remove just the exhaust, when asked if they are working on the car they said they have started already another 2 months and same thing nothing done. It took me having to argue with for them to start removing the engine once it was out took another month before the turbos were finally removed and the rebuild process started. Then took another month to put everything back and given to me. When it was given to me they charged me extra so many parts that “had” to be replaced, we agreed on $3500 I paid $1000 before the job started at the end of it all I paid an extra $2500 for everything. The engine immediately started to leak coolant the next day so I took it back they said it was the valve covers which kinda didn’t make sense since they tweaked the car a bit and it fixed the problem without even replacing the valve covers. I paid also for a new clutch since engine was out and it took 2 months for the clutch to break in pieces. After I took my car to get a new clutch at a different place I was told the clutch that broke wasn’t new at all turns out they never even replaced my clutch or they put a used one. Have not taken my car since and never will. Worst experience I’ve had with mechanics and quite frankly I felt hella ripped off"

He has enough turbos laying around to build a turbo castle for his turbo kingdom! Finished my turbo in a week as promised. Called me promptly when finished. Gave me a 6 month warrant and looks brand new. Great guy. Super friendly. Good prices. Expert on old school turbos. Highly recommended to all my turbo guys."
