"I had high expectations for Cafe Hiro after reading some rave reviews online, but I was let down by the food quality and presentation. The restaurant itself was cozy and welcoming, with dim lighting and soft music. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was fast. We ordered two dishes: uni pasta with spinach and chicken cutlet with curry sauce. We also got some drinks and bread to start with. The bread was warm and fresh, and the drinks were refreshing. I ordered the uni pasta was served in a small bowl, with the uni and spinach on top of the noodles. The chicken cutlet was placed on a large plate with rice on the side and the curry in a separate bowl. The taste was not much better. The uni pasta was bland and watery, and the spinach gave it a weird flavor that did not go well with the pasta. The chicken cutlet was tender and juicy, but the curry sauce was tasteless. It tasted like watered-down tomato sauce. The rice was dry and hard. I think Cafe Hiro needs to do a taste test review for their dishes once in a while for quality control. They also need to work on their food presentation."

"I'm not kidding when I say this place is extremely good. Like very very good. It's a Italian Japanese fusion restaurant with a Vibe that takes you away to another place once you walk in. The restaurant is decorated throughout and painted on the ceiling to give a calming and serene feeling. It's one of those restaurants where you can tell that the chef in the back truly cares about the food they're putting out. Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I go again? Yes. Would I order the exact same things? Hell yes. Should you take your baby mama and all your friends? Definitely."

"Absolutely incredible, literally stunningly good food served in a wonderfully relaxed European home-kitchen type atmosphere. Photo shows salmon and mushroom risotto and uni spaghetti, with a pork bun on each of our plates. The risotto defies description, the sweetest, almost candied, fish paired with rich and creamy umami mushroom sauce. And if you like that combination, get the bread pudding and leave a big tip."

"This place is a hidden gem right here in the City of Cypress! French-Asian fusion is the theme and the food is outstanding! Highly recommend the Uni Pasta, Carbonara, Sauteed Chicken and the BBQ Beef Salad you won't be disappointed!"

"This place is so good! The food is very delicious. We ordered the scallop risotto and steak. Both came with a side salad. The scallops are juicy and fresh. We also ordered the walnut crème brulee, which was not too sweet and 100% tasty."
