"I don’t normally write reviews but this place I just HAD to. I didn’t take pictures of all the food but we got the black truffle edamame, uni nigiri, sweet shrimp nigiri and the 20 pc sashimi. All of the food was too good! I was very very impressed, the sashimi melted in your mouth and perfect texture and the uni was just perfect. When I tried the edamame I was very impressed and it was very reasonably priced! I will say going into it I was definitely a little annoyed since we waited a lil long ngl and so was my mom due to being really hungry but the staff was still very sweet and accommodating, she even gave us free shots and tried to get us a table asap !! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my friends :) it was raining really hard and super windy when we came as shown in the video but still definitely worth the meal."

"This is a Hidden gem restaurants! My husband and I love this place since they were soft opening few years ago. After two years I surprise they still provide quality sashimi and good customer service. If you are a sashimi lover. This is a good choice!! The reason keep us return all the time is the didn’t over charge you and the chef is very talented. Their sauces they made for the raw food like oyster, fish liver, wagyu beef, and toro is unique! Also, they are very generous. Sometime treat us free shot and surprises us with a special treat (no charge). Each time my husband and I are absolutely grateful after celebrating our anniversary or birthday in this restaurant. Thank you Chef!"

"I'm not sure where to start. 4.6 on Google reviews so went in with high hopes. We've driven by many times so it does look like a more progressive sushi joint but again, we didn't want to judge it by its name and facade. In summary, phenomenal sushi and nigiri. Phenomenal. Everything else is mediocre or worse with an absolute sense of confusion with the atmosphere and the music. Honestly, the sushi chef should consider opening up a proper Japanese restaurant. Service is dismal. There is constant chaos at the entrance, at the tables, and just everything is slow. 10 mins to get seated (even with a reservation). 10 mins to get the menu. 10 mins to take the order. The servers are either first-timers or they have no idea what table they are tending. Absolute chaos. Atmosphere is confusing. Tables and the settings look like a local small town sushi shop. Mid-upper range. Nothing wrong with this. And then you have guitars and rock n roll music blasting. Not sure if they're trying to go for a fusion feel or whether you want customers to take sake bombs with their sushi. But the caliber of sushi was simply out of place. And for that type of a beer and sake joint, their tapas and small plate game was weak. So is this an authentic sushi joint or not? And finally the food. There is no order of an appetizer or main course, etc. They just bring you random things done in random order. Our small tapas potato croquette arrived 30 mins after the sushi. Other than the nigiris, and I have to say, they are phenomenal, everything else was mediocre at best. Not worth mentioning much. The server also forgot a roll we ordered but by the time we realized the order wasn't even entered, we had lost the will power to last through in the restaurant. Will not be returning."

"This place is the definition of a hidden gem. I recently went to two Michelin omakase sushi spots, and Sapporo was better by far. The fish is incredible. The 4 piece toro was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. This humble restaurant has amazing service and feels cozy and inviting. 10/10 would recommend."

"Really enjoy the secret box! It comes with the mussel miso soup which has like 8-10 mussels. Really enjoy the box! The scallops and nigiri are delicious. Very balanced tastes and gently seasoned. I would get this secret box again! The sushi roll itself is kinda typical but I also enjoyed it! The staff were very friendly. But I kinda get why some people have different opinions. I observe the chefs and waitresses were drinking with the customers. I don’t have a problem with this, and I think the staff were very helpful. I would 100% come again and try their secret box!"
