"I could not for the life of me rationalize the price. $10 for an average cup of tea? $17 for three rice waffles? The place is ridiculously expensive. I’m willing to pay for atmosphere and decor but not even that was worth it. It’s above California Mart so there’s free parking if you’re interested. Even the market was far more entertaining. We came specifically for the cafe and left disappointed, only happier buying treats at the Tous les Jours downstairs."

"Great tea shop! Love the ambiance, the traditional ceramic mugs, photos and the goldfish red bean bread. They have 5 versions- my favorite is the red bean and cheese. You can also try variety of teas! I always get the ones I’ve never tried before. Great place to stop by after lunch!"

"It was okay. The cafe is super cute, has great ambience, a beautiful indoor location with great outdoor seating as well. It’s a very aesthetic cafe. The dessert was okay — I’ve had better in ktown, and I feel like the taiyaki at somi somi is better. We got three red bean taiyakis and it took a while for it to be made — there must’ve been a shortage of staff, because the other dessert we got also took awhile. This isn’t too huge of a problem though - the desserts were yummy but they weren’t the best. You have to buy a minimum of three taiyakis ($3 each) if you choose to buy taiyaki. We got the red bean bingsu which was also okay, it was very icy and and the ice was flavorless, with a batch of red bean and mochis on top. Overall — clean, good location, but okay dessert!!"
