"A very unique and admirable restaurant with a great date night ambiance, amazing service, and food that could be ever so slightly improved. Sunday 1/28/2024 6:30pm McKayla was our server for the evening, and she offered us perfect service. Down to Earth, wholesome person who was a pleasure to be a patron with. It was game night, and that’s why it seemed as if there were few people inside. Possibly 10 tables total throughout our stay. Blackerry limeade mocktail 5/5 Mac and cheese trio Basil pesto 4.5/5 Truffle 2.5/5 (lack of flavor, tasted like truffle oil) Bacon and egg 4.5/5 (comes with sunny side up egg, not our preference) Fried chicken burger with fries 3/5 (chicken was dry-ish and lacked flavor) Banana cream pie 3.75/5 (needs more banana) Overall an amazing experience, though most places have room for improvement. Iron Horse Tavern is no exception. We are excited to come back and try other items, and hopefully see those we have tried changed for the better!
