The Habit Burger Grill 770 Otay Lakes Road, Chula Vista, CA 91910

"So I’ve been meaning to try this burger place for some time. I finally made it in and was anticipating a well-made, juicy, gourmet burger that was a step up from fast-food chains. While the convenience of ordering was easy (self-order kiosk at the door), the service was pretty average (barely any interaction with employees), the restaurant is spacious and very clean. Unfortunately the burger didn’t live up to my expectation of a sit-down gourmet burger joint. The burger was good quality, but nothing special. You can honestly get something on this level at a Jack In The Box or Carl’s Jr drive through for less. This burger/fry/drink combo cost me just under $20 which in my opinion is just a bit much for something that isn’t spectacular or above average."

"Nothing to write home about. The long story short is that this bland food is not worth my money and probably not worth yours either. We tried a burger, a "spicy" chicken sandwich, French fries, and sweet potato fries. The burger lacked flavor and was the most mediocre burger I have had in a long time. The "spicy" chicken sandwich was also very bland. Even trying the chicken alone sans bun and toppings revealed that there was zero spice to it and it was very dry. The chicken was a flat super processed piece of chicken product and didn't resemble real chicken in the slightest. The fries were also flavorless. The staff took my order, but there was zero interaction from their end to even determine if they were friendly. The inside is spacious and there is some outside seating as well. I would not return, and would recommend that you choose somewhere else to spend your money."

"Always a top burger choice of mine, following the great variety of salads, burgers and sandwiches they also have soft serve ice cream for those who have a sweet tooth! I definitely recommend if you’re in the area!"

"Ordered a burger via drive thru, glad I didn't order anything more. While eating my burger I found garbage amongst the lettuce, disgusting. I will not return and I cannot recommend, hoping I don't get sick."

"My burger was fine but nothing exceptional. I'll go back for the onion rings, which were excellent. There's plenty of indoor seating as well as the drive through. Order was ready pretty quickly."
