"Really enjoyed eating here! All the sushi was fresh and just melted in your mouth. They make a great old fashion, and baked dynamite roll is addictive! Our server chelsea was super sweet. I also noticed their staff was on top of it and working really well together. The bartenders had a good mood. The interior was fun to look at as well; casual but nice. You're going to spend money here. But it was worth it."

"Prime location located off Mission Ave in Oceanside. Stopped by here while on business trip. Service was prompt and tried real Wasabi for the first time which was a nice bonus. Food was good although a little pricey."

"One word - trashy. I came on a Saturday night. It was crowded and loud. People were taking shots, drinking, and puking. The bathroom was ridiculously dirty. I felt like I was in my 20s again eating at a ghetto bar. Food was awful. I was never expecting authentic Japanese food, but honestly everything was just bad. We ordered udon but the broth tasted like soy sauce with added salt and mirin. Try straight up drinking soy sauce- yup that's the broth. It was salty beyond words. In this udon, you can find dried chicken breast, old tofull, and pieces of pretty decent fishcakes(only 2 slices). Sushi rolls were overpriced and they were very poorly put together. Pay $20 you get warm rice, cheese, and old fish they called it sushi roll. Girls/servers dressed like they worked at Hooters. Spent over $100 for 2 people. I think I cried a little. Needless to say I will never come back again. Ever. Bless that manager who worked so hard in the restaurant. Yes I recognized your hardwork, but the food was really awful."

"I’m always skeptic when I try new sushi spots because I tend to be a little picky. The restaurant itself is super dark, and has this cool underground vibe to it. When I ordered-our server broke down to me some of their “award winning rolls” and filled me in on the menu. My food was hands down some of the most quality sushi I’ve ever had. I would recommend the Diablo (spicy mango salsa) and the Orange Crush (citrus and refreshing). She suggested subbing yellow tail instead of salmon and it was to die for! Thanks to the Harney Team!"

"We though we would go out and have some "fancy" sushi this fine Sunday night. I personally have not eaten sushi before that wasn't cooked in some way, but tonight we got three dishes and all were excellent. We started with an appetizer of monkey brains, followed by two rolls, the "Chuck Norris" and the "James Bomb". Everything was great, but I especially liked the James Bomb, a roll with scallops. I also had a tasty espresso martini. Yumm!"
