Waffle Love - Long Beach

"There were two people working that day. Unfortunately, I cannot remember their names but they were so friendly telling jokes and just having a good time and the food. If you’ve never had a croissant waffle, you have to try it it was delicious."

"I have been waiting to try Waffle Love since I saw them on Food Truck race. I was not disappointed. I went pretty straight forward with the Cinna Love and it was sooo good. I also loved the atmosphere of the place it was in. Wish it wasn't so far but also glad it is because I'd be going very often!"

"Everything deserves a 5 star review but I'm subtracting one stars for the owner. Whoever the owner is doesn't seem to know how to keep good staff happy or ensuring they are staffing good people. One of the reasons I stopped coming to this location is due to staff being rude and entitled in the past (especially this one young girl with long blond hair, she was the final straw). I'm only back to try this place out again due to the Yelp Elite event taking place this week. Service: 7/10 The gentleman today, Parker, was simply amazing and has the best attitude, friendly service and super funny personality. He deserves a 10/10 rating The owner needs to treat him right and keep him around. But I'm not sure how long that will be since the owner seems very inconsiderate. The owner decided to do a Yelp event and scheduled this guy by himself, so it took over 30-mins to get my order. If it was busy I would understand, but it wasn't. Totally not the employees fault but the owners for leaving one man to take orders, prepare the order, deliver the food and tend to customers. So due to the wait because of the owner not scheduling properly (god forbid they come in if they're short staffed) I can't give full 10/10 rating. Food: 9/10 I remember loving how different the waffles were back when I use to come to this location over a year ago. They were fluffy and not like your typical waffle. I guess they've decided to have traditional waffles now and ditch the old recipe. Not a big deal but a bit disappointing when I was expecting the waffles they use to sell. However the Sunshine waffle was still very enjoyable! Made to perfection, the lemon curd was slightly sweet and not overpowering at all (which I was afraid of but glad it was mildly zesty). The raspberries were fresh and the house made whipped cream was just the right amount of sugar to make this breakfast delicious and sweet, but not in a dessert type of way. So be aware it's a bit pricey here. Possibly doable for one person but can get quite expensive for a family. If this establishment can keep good employees like the gentlemen today here, then there's a good chance I'll come back. Their waffles are pretty good, but not as good as before in my opinion. Hopefully they bring back the old recipe and give you the option of having a regular waffle or the fluffy cake-like waffle. Thanks Parker for the amazing waffle and top-notch customer service! Spider-Man couldn't have done a better job at saving the day as you did!"

"Got the Grilled cheese & bisque, with the coffee love waffle. So damn good! All if it. Lots of flavor on the grilled cheese bisque, nice and thick. The waffle is so crispy, thin and delicious with a nice amount of gooey cheese. The coffee love waffle was delicious! A nice thick waffle, with a good balance of Nutella, not overwhelming with cinnamon sugar and glob of fluffy butter. I've been to different locations and plan to try more. I love this place"
