"I've been to a lot of norms, and this one is mediocre. Being hungry at 6 am, we choose norms because we hardly don't like Dennys or Ihop, and we know norms most of the time carry a good reputation. My date ordered the t bone steak and eggs with the steak being under cooked/red and asked for it to be put on the grill a bit longer. The steak came back a bit chewy. It's like the cook in the back doesn't know how to cook steaks. My omlette was okay. Just felt smaller than usual, and the hash browns were small portion. The pancakes were good. Overall, I dont know if we will be coming back to this location. Also felt a bit run down, and the atmosphere felt like I wasn't at a norms restaurant."
"I was at the Downey location around 0530 hours. There were about 8 people in the restaurant. The waitress was attentive, kept my coffee cup full throughout my visit. The food was hot and a good value for the price. I would recommend this restaurant."
"The breakfast was nice and there's something about having steak and eggs. I would suggest not to have high expectations and try to compare the steaks against a steakhouse. The steak was cooked okay the rest of the items like the hash browns, eggs, biscuits and gravy were really good. The price is reasonable for what you get."

"I went around 11am, and even though it looked busy, we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. The server introduced himself and was very attentive the whole time we were there. The food was delicious! And what most of you appreciate and love, it was also affordable!!! It was my moms first time visiting this restaurant, and she loved it!!! We recommend this place!!!"
