"Went to this establishment for dinner thinking it was another restaurant. We called on the way to the place because it was late and everyone was closing by 8pm. It was a Sunday night. The guy on the phone was very pleasant and you could hear in the background they were very busy. The food was very good just a little salty for me but I don't eat a lot of salt so that doesn't count. The portions were very hearty and the price very reasonable compared to other soul food restaurants. My grandchildren had two complaints (1) the smothered chicken was actually fried chicken covered in gravy (instead of cooked in gravy) and they were out of oxtails and did not tell us that over the phone so my grandson was stuck with getting a substitute. All in all, it was a good experience. I gave the atmosphere and service a 4 only because we didn't eat there but the service we received over the phone and for pick up was very good. One drawback was the parking and access to the building, we couldn't find it. It may have been because of google maps, the lighting in the area, and the location. Because we were pressed for time we parked on the street in front of the building, but we were in and out in about 5 minutes and that's good timing for pickup at a soul food eatery."

"I always like to drop in here when I'm in town. I like their oxtails but I always end up forgetting that they don't serve them with rice. Their greens are pretty good. I just tried the succotash and honestly, I've never had succotash before so I have nothing to gauge theirs by, but it seemed pretty good. I'd definitely recommend dropping in and getting something to eat there. The portion size and quality/authenticity of the food definitely makes it a must try, especially since it's really not expensive. I appreciate having a place to get good soul food when I'm not in the south."

"Waiter never came out the back to take my order. So I had to order at the counter. When I placed my order, they made it to go, but it was supposed to be for inside. Then the waiter , male, had an attitude when I tried to explain what he already knew, which was, he never came from the back, so I was forced to order at the counter. I've known this place for years, and that day service was at its worst."

"R&R has great soul food. We have not had a thing there that we do not like. We have been several times, I just kept forgetting to leave a review. R&R is in a small strip mall and parking is easy. It is not as clean as I would like outside, but what can they do. The interior is very small, but there are a few places to sit if you want to eat there. We usually take it to go. They also have delivery. The service is nice and fast. Your food comes out right and hot. It is all so very good. We love their mac and cheese and cat fish. The fried chicken is amazing. All of it is tasty. They have ox tails which my husband loves. I don't care for any ox tails so I have never tried them. They have soda and really good desserts. You will love this place. The prices are super reasonable and everyone there is nice. Have a great time. Oh, and the BBQ ribs--just so great."
