"Everything about this joint is Greek excellence at its finest. Tonight I had a tried and true lamb gyro. Perfectly executed with the freshest tomatoes onions and cucumber. The tzatziki sauce was perfectly consistent and full of flavor. The lamb was succulent and delicious. But let’s take a minute to talk about the real star of the show- the pita! Oh my llama that thing was a blanket that hugged my taste buds long after I finished. Soft and pillowy, and warm with just the slightest of toastiness- I have not had better in my many years and I can’t wait to return to try it with some house hummus. Go here and enjoy the food, the beautiful Greek atmosphere, and the amazing hospitality of the gracious staff. You will be swept away into Mediterranean bliss."

"I have dined in Stephan at least 4 times. The only dish that worth the money is the lentil soup. Tonight’s tri tip sandwich was tasteless. But the lentil soup was good. In previous times I had ordered lasagna , it was served cold. I had to request to be warmed again and still served cold indicating that it was not fresh. The gyro dish was also not impressive."

"The best Greek food in Ventura. Gyros have plenty of meat and the sauce is perfect. I have had other menu items and all of them are great but I keep going back to the Gyros because they are the best. They also have a deli with a variety of meats and cheese as well as other Mediterranean shop items like olive oil and other things as well as pastry. Great Greek food!!"

"My buddy and I found this place whilst looking for a lamb gyro. We first ate here about 8 months ago and enjoyed our experience and our food. Although, we do not go here all the time we have become regulars. Staff has changed from when we visited this place for the first time, they were a lot more friendlier and would go check to see if you were finding everything alright. This has changed and they don’t really ask you this anymore. We ordered the lamb gyro with fries and a salad and I have to say that it is so delicious. Fries are fresh and tasty, Greek salad is topped with a light dressing that compliments the salad so well and lamb gyro is perfectly cooked and portions are generous. "We have neen coming to this restaurant for three years now. I first came to this diamond in the rough restaurant on Mother's Day three years ago and have been coming here ever since. The food here is great and the prices are reasonable. The location does seem a little outdated, but the food makes up for the decor. In regards to the dining experience, you will find this place to give a family style vibe with a bit of a Greek bistro experience. The waiters and waitresses seem.to treat you more of a family due to the fact that is family owned. I like that personal feel of kindness when dining at a restaurant. Makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. I just visited for Mother's Day and was not disappointed as always. I ate the Souvlaki Lamb Dinner and it was fantastic. I usually get the Ribeye Dinner plate, but the Ribeye was sold out. The Lamb was just as delicious. No regrets. I do recommend this to anyone. It's just a fantastic place. Cheers!"
