"Great atmosphere and outstanding live music. There was a rowdy crowd impacting our meal, but the owner personally made sure we were well taken care of. Great service and attention to diners."

"Bartender ( female) was rude and did not acknowledge our presence. The customers looked at us like we were aliens. We were dressed to go to a funeral and needed a quick snack. Early covid days. Nobody in the bar including the bartender, not wearing masks. We ordered a small appetizer and was told we have to buy booze but we can't eat inside. 5 little overcooked wings, dry and coated with some kind of grainy spice like crunching sand from the beach; and the celery sticks and carrots were old. The carrots had white specks all over them, that means they're old! When we go to Oxford the next time we will avoid this bar. I wouldn't even give it one star. I give it a minus 100."

"Very nice place to over many drinks gibbish with the local community and bar tender. Good food hitting the upper end of the scale for cost and the lower for serving size and speed. Bar Jockey very engaged and focused on keeping the local's glasses tapped off and them entertained."

"How does this place not have five stars?! I'll be honest - I did not expect that this little restaurant had much going for it other than the fact it's the only one within walking distance from Oxnard Shores homes. I'm not one for appetizers but our waitress really sold on their night's special, the BBQ CarniFlatbread. Hot, fluffy bread spread with tangy BBQ sauce generously topped with fresh, colorful bell peppers and juicy carne, beautifully arranged to appease the eyes and taste buds. Hot damn, this was an amazing flatbread. The BBQ sauce was so good! The perfect blend of sweet and spicy. 10/10 for this one. For my main course I ordered the Mac & Cheese. This dish is described on their menu as “pasta blessed with The Shore’s own secret dirty blonde cheese sauce. I wanted my bacon loaded ($14.00) but you can also get it Buffalo Style ($14.00) and traditional with roasted panko ($10.00). Oh my, blessed be this pasta. It was heavenly. Delectable soft, creamy cheese with hints of rich cheddar over perfectly cooked pasta that melts in your mouth. The bacon was an excellent addition although I would love the dish either way. I hope to try the Buffalo Mac next time I’m in! My husband was so impressed with the carne on the flatbread, he continued the affair with Carnitas Tacos (slow roasted carnitas, roasted corn, roasted bell pepper, onion, cilantro, feta cheese, chipotle aioli, $15.00). The dish came with two very loaded tacos. I think they could have scaled back on the feta cheese just a little. It was seriously heaping and covered the entire tacos. However, they were delicious! Insane flavor and soft, pillowy tortillas. You only need two to fill you up. 100% recommended! Our server was fantastic and very attentive. She kept the drinks coming fast! Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I truly did not expect them to blow it out of the water like they did. I can’t wait to go back!"
