"Wait was a bit long for lunch, but the view was nice. The clam chowder was good, just wish it had more salt. The bread was tasty, but both baskets the top was a bit burnt. The fish and chips were really good, soft and flaky and batter was crispy!"
"Wonderful food and great staff. I sat at the bar. The staff was very attentive. Even the other customers that came in and sat at the bar were very kind. I had seafood pasta and clam chowder. The pasta was very good and a large portion! Brophy Bros never disappoints."
"We really like Brophy Brothers at the Ventura Harbor. The food is fresh and the service always on point. I tend to order seafood here, because it's so good. On this visit I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was excellent. The sides are also really well done, for example salad, coleslaw, fries, grilled veggies, etc. Pricing seems pretty typical for this type of restaurant. It's also relaxing to sit on the enclosed patio and watch the harbor life, the boats and the beauty of it all."
"I had cioppino for starter and it was soooo good!! There was plenty of seafood in it and it was flavorful. With provided bread, I got full and couldn’t eat other things."
"So so good! Less than a five minute wait to be seated for lunch. ( we called ahead and put our name on the list)We had clam chowder, calamari, scallops, fish , clams, rice, fries,and bread . Service was awesome. You do however need to be able to walk up 25 steps to get to the restaurant. Such a great place though. Really cool view too."
