"Generally had great experiences. Yesterday came in and there were 5 employees by wood cutting dept. Asked if they cut 4x6s. They said yes and I went to grab one and came back. Another customer walked up right before me to get a plank cut and no one was to be found. Went to register to ask for help and they paged folks. Both waited over 10 min and then asked again. Both got tired of waiting and left. Pretty disappointing."

"Probably one of the worst kept Home Depot’s in all of California. The gardening area had mud everywhere & they have many decaying plants. The checkout areas are a joke, there is not a clear way to pay. The music is all country music, as much as I enjoy a good country tune, a little variety would be appreciated. Passed about 10 staff members & not a single good afternoon & how can I help you. I don’t know who manages this place but I even witnessed staff name calling each other at the entrance."

"What a horrible experience at Home Depot Torrance Cross Roads. Came to store this evening. Clearly a slow night. Plenty of people with aprons standing around. I go to lumber department after circling the area I see someone. I ask who is in lumber department? He replies that would be me. I told him I needed some wood cut to size for a project. He replied my saw is broken, I ask when will it be fixed he said probably Monday and gone from sight, that fast. I see him again trying to get advice and he says look in 22 and walks away again. I help myself pull some wood and ask for help from another person by cashier area and I’m told I can’t purchase the wood and leave it in store to be cut to size on Monday. So disappointed on the horrible customer service. If the first person would have taken 5 minutes to try to help me perhaps my experience would have been better. Instead I leave the store thinking what lazy worthless people Home Depot hires. People who want a job, but yet don’t want to do their job. I hope you do something about your employees, bad customer service has such a bad reflection in your store. Make me not ever come back and just go to Lowe’s"

"The fact that there are people searching for help and all of the employees are standing in groups talking about their weekend, disks for itself. Although I do not need help shopping when I went up to the register to check out, a cashier tried to correct me that there was a line that I had to wait in, and the guy she was referring to was trying to find help, not in line, but to show me as soon as she got done with the guy she was checking out she walked away like I was not there. Customer service is not that hard, if you can't be pleasant and help people get another job."
