"I enjoyed a nice matcha hot tea with a touch of honey from this Parakeet Cafe location at La Jolla Cove Hotel & Suites. With the matcha tea, I had a pulled apart baked good, too. The matcha was very good. The young lady who made it did a very good job preparing it. It offered that good matcha flavor, hardly any bitterness, and a touch of sweet from the honey towards the end. The pull apart was good. It had different levels of flavors and chocolate chips in it as well. I was not as pleased with its texture as I thought I was going to be, but it was tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. They offer mostly morning beverages, baked goods, and some small bites at this location only. They don't offer the extensive menu as the other Parakeet Cafe's do."

"This location only has beverages and no food except couple of muffins. Except the small patio outside that you can also see the water there isn’t anything special. It’s good for grabbing a cup of coffee. It’s pretty loud inside. I would prefer their other location few blocks away. I also find it overpriced for the coffee you get."

"Super nice coffee house, across the road from the ocean and beach. Very nice interior and there is an outdoor decking area with beautiful views. Coffee itself was really nice and smooth. There was plenty of alternative milk selections (free of charge) which is refreshing. The pricing is average for San Diego, latte costing $6. Otherwise the coffee shop is a good choice if you want a good coffee in La Jolla."

"So lucky to find nice coffee in late hour. Me and my wife arrived at 4pm and still be able to find this wonderful, modern, clean cafe that we always crave for. I recommend their coffee, with milk or without milk are great. Will come back soon. Service + view = 100marks. :D"
