"Great boba! As a Taiwanese, I can tell they make their boba fresh, not the factory-produced kind you find in Asian grocery stores. Please give it a try!"

"I get the Strawberry fluffy matcha every time. It's so delicious! They usually have maybe just one employee but it's still fairly quick service unless someone gets a larger order. There's no place to sit, it's just grab and go."

"It’s not fun to go to a place which has all new employees every 2 weeks and they all have to be trained using your drinks by other employees who themselves just joined one week ago and will be gone next week. Drinks like these need consistency to taste good. Just because you can open 20 of these shops all over town at once doesn’t mean that you should."

"Love the Maru Milk and their boba! Always fast and efficient. I also recommend Mango Jasmine Cheese Foam if you like fruit milky drinks!"

"There are so many tea places and it’s hit or miss. Tea Maru was a hit. I never get boba or toppings in my drink but I did because it’s advertised as housemade boba. I got Okinawa Latte ($5.99) with brown sugar boba. I love that it’s only one size cup and you can customize your ice and sugar level. The tea tasted freshly brewed, it was strong and had a slight hint of roasted flavor in the Okinawa which is supposed to be more bold than the Maru (classic milk tea). The boba choices were strawberry, mango, brown sugar and sweet potato. It was soft and chewy from beginning to end unlike other places where it’s hard and tough. There are no indoor seating and one table outside. Basically grab and go."
