"Usually I like Alfred but this location isn’t great, if I’m paying upwards of $8-12 on my drink w/ tip it shouldn’t be so watered down and bland. Just my personal experience, but definitely go to the West Hollywood one. All that being said the space itself is super clean and spacious."

"The staff were kind and helpful, the coffee was absolutely horrendous even when I dumped the drip coffee and got an Americano instead. These guys must be using the worst beans on the market and then burn them instead of roasting them. I had not taken coffee this bad since the last time I was forced to get one from a convenient store in the middle of nowhere just to stay awake at the wheel. You pay for a superb cup of joe and you get dishwater based on my experience at this location. Again, the staff were great. It was the just the coffee that was beyond bad."

"Alfred Coffee is a nice little coffee shop brand nestled and originating from the Los Angeles area. It's spaces, as well as its coffee offer, sleek style, finely crafted taste, and superb quality all around. The vanilla latte is a must. The taste is quite extraordinary for such a simple drink. They also carry a good assortment of chaga drinks as well. If you choose an alternative to your coffee game. They carry great pastries to accompany your beverages, and the atmosphere is nice enough to stay awhile and study or chat with friends. Be careful, though. Since this is Westwood, there shall be a steady breakfast and lunch rush for the UCLA crowd and the neighboring hospital. Order ahead online to avoid the traffic."

"I got the lavender matcha with oatmilk. It was $8.75, yikes. It was definitely aesthetic but it tasted like water, or if anything like a matcha Americano. I didn’t taste matcha or milk, it was overpowered by the ice and the lavender flavor, which was too strong."

"Solid 3.5. Heard a lot about their coffee, so I decided to give it a go! I ordered their matcha latte with oat milk and it did not disappoint. The drink was really creamy and you could really taste the quality. I did expect there the be a stronger matcha flavor, but the milk was the main player. Their coffee is on the pricier side since I paid ~7.50 for one drink, including tip."
