"First of all, being an avid amateur chef and rated many, many restaurants for breakfast and being critical of the quality of the food and second, the service. The Best Breakfast would have to be number 1 out of roughly 30 Southern California breakfast houses that I've rated. Lunch and breakfast was perfect down to the last bite. My friend had chicken, mushroom, tomato dish with delicious rice and beans. I have the same staple wherever I have breakfast in the U.S. 2 eggs over easy, home potatoes, bacon or sausage and in place of toast, one or two pancakes. I drink my coffee black in order to distinguish the quality and taste of the coffee. I was amazed that I could not find one infection of the quality of the food, coffee, ambiance and especially our waitress Abbey. There is nothing pretentious about this place. Good old home school breakfast, lunch delites!! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good homemade hardy meal. Enjoy! After all . . . Life Is To Enjoy!:)"

"Good Chile Verde and the hash browns were delicious. Beans, tortillas, and biscuits and gravy were average. Overall 3 star's ⭐️"

"Came early in the morning on a Sunday. Plenty of parking, easy to find. Wonderful, fast service. Accidentally spilled water and someone immediately came to wipe it up and give us more water. Portions and pricing are very reasonable. Very accommodating. Chicken in the sandwich tasted great, wasn’t hard in texture at all like some other sandwich places. All the food tasted great and was perfect after a long hike in the mountains!"

"Busy busy busy. That means the food is about to be good. They did NOT disappoint. Got the steak and eggs and the chilequiles verdes. Man. My husband said the steak was one of the best he has had, as far as breakfast can go (his go to breakfast is steak and eggs). I wanted to try chilequiles for the first time. I have no comparison but it was so delicious. Love the spiciness, the combo of salsa verde and the crunch of the chips. It went well with the hashbrowns. Which were AMAZING on their own! it was a great place for food anytime of day!"

"Aptly named, this restaurant's excellent food and wonderful service will definitely leave an impression on your mind. They've got so many options, from rich, hearty Chile Colorado to much lighter fare. There's something for everyone no matter what the mood is! My husband and I began our meal with fresh cups of coffee ($3.95 each). He ordered the Cancun Omelette with hash browns and rye toast (bacon, cheese, green chile, and sour cream $17.50), which was heavily stuffed with the goods! It was very fresh and incredibly flavorful! There was lots of bacon bits and the green chile was definitely an interested, delicious addition. I bellied up with the Chile Colorado and Eggs (two eggs and tender beef smothered in roasted tomato sauce, refried beans, potatoes, corn or flour tortillas, topped with sour cream, $16.95). This dish is RICH & HEAVY. I'm not sure where they buy their eggs, but their definition of "two" eggs is more like four. The beef was phenomenally seasoned and packed with flavor and beautifully tender. The sauce was delicious, I wanted it smothered on the eggs and hash browns. To add to the praise, it was very authentic, tasted very reminiscent of what I've had before homemade using ancho and guajillo chiles. Wowza, there was no way I was going to finish this dish. Good thing it saves well! To top off our amazing breakfast, we ordered Cinnamon Roll French Toast ($16.95) to-go. This one was a miss. Maybe it would have been much better if it wasn't sitting in a covered container for 2 hours before we ate it. It didn't look very appealing, nothing like the images shared by other patrons online. What I saw was a ginormous cinnamon roll toasted and drenched in syrup and frosting with cinnamon dusted over the top. Not what we got at all. It was 3 sad, flat cakes sloppily placed in the box and way dusted. Did I see something else...??? If so, please let me know as the menu has no pics and I expected something very different. It still tasted fantastic, and came with plenty of maple syrup but no cream cheese frosting. I'd love to come back here! Despite the disappointing dessert, it was still a great meal! Still 5 stars!!! :)"
