"Daughter was in town for just a few hours & we drove a couple hours out to see her for lunch. Picked Mary & Robb's based on reviews. We were NOT disappointed! What a GREAT place. Excellent, friendly service by folks who actually seemed to care. Coffee cup was constantly attended to (which is awesome) and the food was downright excellent. Also excellent coffee for a diner - we roast coffee as a business and it was clear that this was no ordinary "diner coffee." Top notch. Wife had a reuben which she said was the best she'd ever had. Which is saying something. Lastly, they allowed us to sit in our booth (left-rear "Gone with the Wind" booth) and visit our daughter for almost 4 hours. Tables were open so we weren't holding anyone up, but I did ask if we were a hindrance and staff just said "we're here until 8pm, stay a long as you like!" What an incredibly welcoming bunch of folks. Wish I could give this place 6 stars. Thank you Mary and Robb's for making our limited time with our daughter so pleasant and for the great food and service!"
