"Dubs is absolutely killer!!! The food is so delicious, especially the epic fried chicken!!! And the owner, Dubs (Ernest Hall) is so friendly, welcoming his diners and checking up on them frequently. I had never had several of the southern dishes we had but wow, the collard greens and the black-eyed peas are wonderful. All of our party of seven enjoyed their orders. We'll be back! Do yourself a favor and swing by!!! THE. BEST.FRIED.CHICKEN."

"Ordered Dubs Catfish combo. Food was made to order and piping hot. Enormous amount of incredible flavor. Clearly made with attention and love. Best collared greens I’ve ever had. Beans were so full of flavor. Catfish fried perfectly crisp. Flavor, quality, and kind service. Owners really care about their customers, their restaurant, and their food! Restaurant was very, very clean. This place is a hug for your soul. Must visit if going to or through Paso Robles."

"Some of the best food we have had in Paso Robles. We enjoyed fried chicken, catfish, okra, black-eyed peas, red beans and rice and collard greens. Every item was perfectly prepared and tasty. Obviously, freshly made to order. Took me back to my grandmother's kitchen in North Carolina. As a bonus to the great food, the place was spotless and very comfortable. It was a cold day outside, and we were warmly welcomed into a warm and clean restaurant."
