"The restaurant looks pretty, that's about it for me. We googled restaurants to eat in Ojai since we were on a day trip there, and this one had such good reviews that we decided to go for lunch. We ordered burgers with fries and despite of how nice it looks in the picture the burger and fries were warm at best and the meat patty was burned, so much so that it was tough to eat and incredibly dry, same thing with the fries. We usually order burgers well done (especially since we order for our kid too), and on every single restaurant we've eaten, it has always been juicy, so this one was a complete letdown considering we were driving from LA and were already very hungry at the time. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend it to others since it wasn't a good experience."

"Wow. Just wow. Not only was the food AMAZING (I'm not big fan of onions, but the french onion soup had me saying "wow wow wow" and dancing in my chair, and the brisket sandwich was soooo goood!). But Lisa-Ann (the owner/operator) is SPECTACULAR. Her story is so inspiring! She showed such kindness, elegance, and amazing service while being understaffed. She made our anniversary so special and I can't thank her enough. She even took photos for us and paused the music to be in the moment with us as the neighboring bar played "harvest moon" by Neil Young. You can't go wrong with Harvest Moon."
