"So I ordered a cheese calzone and what I got served was a mishmash of pizza and cheese. Sorry but a calzone is not a pizza, not made of thick pizza crust, and is most always folded. Plus the sneaky credit card fee added on top without disclosure. I did not appreciate."
"Not sure why this place is rated so high. Location that caters to visitors maybe? I don't know. What I do know is that the cheese pizza I ordered came out to be very underwhelming. Bland sauce, little cheese and where the heck is the crust?? I am a bit of pizza snob so take it for what it is."
"Eggplant Parmesan is my comfort food and I was not disappointed with Mario’s Pizza. The sauce was rich and flavorful, the dish had the right amount of cheese and ricotta. The eggplant was thinly sliced and breaded to perfection on top of spaghetti. The last time I had eggplant Parmesan like this is when I was in Boston’s Little Italy. The portion was large enough for two meals although I really wanted to eat every bite. Nice work Mario’s Pizza from someone who is very picky about my eggplant parm."
"Yoooo. This is good pizza!!!! 9/10 on my slice with ricotta and meatballs. Crust is supper yummy. On the thicker end with a good crunch, not as much the chewy style of crust. Ingredients are well made too!!"
"Excellent customer service, All of your favorite Italian cuisines to choose from. Portions are worth the price. Food is authentic and very delicious. In town from Arizona. This is our first time here and we will be back every time we visit New Port Beach California. Adam , thank you for the hospitality."
