"The place was packed, party in the back, 1 table open in front. My 2 guests and I sat down, cleared the let over drinks, and ordered/paid. 2 minutes later th cashier tells me the Mgr is not serving more customers. Only to-go orders. I got my $ back and we left. Not sure if I'll frequent this plc any more!"

"Italian food is my favorite, so I was excited to try this (new to me) place. Our family is sick, so I ordered delivery. The food was promised 30-40 minutes from when I ordered (totally reasonable). When the order went 30 minutes past the delivery window, we called the restaurant to check the status. I was rudely told that he didn’t see a ticket and that meant it was probably out for delivery and it would get there when it gets there because other people have orders, too. While I understand the basic premise of delivery, I do not understand such a gross miscalculation of time. When I asked that he contact the driver (who works for the restaurant) to get a more accurate ETA, the employee hung up on me. The food arrived an hour past the delivery window (I had to figure out alternative meals for my two young children who couldn’t wait). Then, the food was mediocre at best. The pizza was soggy and the pasta sauce was flavorless. The only thing I can say for it was that it was hot. Such a disappointment, but I can overlook one bad delivery experience and might have tried a different meal. The ghastly customer service, however, ensured we will never return."

"Got the spaghetti and meatballs was a it disappointing. The meatballs tasted like plastic frozen flavor, and there was a piece of foil paper stuck on the meatball. The spaghetti was good and the sauce."

"The pizzas here are among the best I have ever had, in the US or in Italy, and this is not hyperbole. The pizzas have generous toppings and the toppings taste very fresh. My wife who is a vegetarian was amazed at how many vegetarian options she could choose from. And I had many meat toppings to choose from. They have several beer brands on tap. The service is very good, with friendly servers. Sorento also hosts comedy shows though I have not attended any of these. The restaurant has a very friendly, laid back feel that I find very inviting. My biggest regret is that I did not discover Sorrento until now."
