"The food is horrible compared to what it tasted like in 95. The cooks look like they're from Iran. My dad has 10 sisters and 6 brothers from Salinas and it never tasted so bad. I grew up with all the owners. The rice taste like nothing but yellow onion. Then they used red onion in the pico de Gallo. That goes in the shrimp cocktails. The yellow onion is for Sopita De Fideo at Tacos Palenque in Laredo Texas. We only use white onion. The containers are from the bakery. I know the original managers. They gave me their recipes. This food has never tasted this way until all those gay people showed up from Castroville living in the streets near Dorothy's kitchen They don't even know how to make a burrito. The older people told me they went gay, food don't taste the same might as well go somewhere else before wasting your money. They wanted $10 for a dozen flour tortillas. I'm Raymond Acosta Jr. My mother is Lucy. Everybody loves Raymond and I Love Lucy. This place was the best in 1980's to 2000 for carnitas, flour tortillas and Salsa not no more they changed management ACOSTA I'm known all over the world like the president"

"I go there at least 2 to 3 times every week. On my way to work stop get a half pound carnitas and three tortillas and that's my lunch ,way better than any fast food . And I just feel cool there . This place is legendary as far being established in the community I guarantee top five if three in Mexican in the area. Variety of different dishes to choose from"

"I came here for the first time last week and was surprised by the variety and prices that they offer. First of all, I'm a big fan of restaurants that have pictures of their dishes as it makes deciding a lot easier for me. Secondly, the service was top notch as well as their willingness to swap the french fries for rice and beans at no extra charge! Lastly, the prices were very reasonable and the torta was delicious. My only complaint is them wrapping the paper bowl where my beans and rice with foil paper; where I could taste small amounts of foil while eating out of it. Other than that, go check this place out!"
