"The very best. We had the beet risotto, lasagna, and gnocchi. Each dish was decadent and unlike any other place. Fresh ingredients, homemade pasta, and the best part is that it is made with love. Chef Mollie is right there cooking for you. What a treat. The chicken vodka pasta is delicious too. And she makes her own bread!"

"This is the most disappointing $16 sandwich I’ve ever had. After tax and tip I spent $20 on a sandwich that had very little of anything. One slice of salami and cheese. Iceberg lettuce and tomato. That’s it. I understand the cost of everything has gone up but absolutely no reason this sandwich should cost $16. After reading some reviews on trip advisor sounds like it’s the norm. Over priced mediocre food in small portions. I’m always one to support local but won’t be going here again."
"Mollie’s Italian Deli is the real deal and a wonderful new asset to Carpinteria! Staff was welcoming and accommodating. One can eat there or order to go. There is one table inside that seats four and several small tables on the sidewalk outside. Beautiful local organic produce as well as imported Italian food products are available for sale as well as pasta dishes, salads, and sandwiches. There is also Italian style coffee. Award-winning Chef Mollie’s cookbook is also available for sale! I ordered the veggie pasta to go and it was freshly prepared and delicious! I thought the prices were a little high, but then again, food is expensive these days."
